How to fix Flash/External/Hard Drives where files and folders have turned to shortcuts

Have you experienced getting your flash drive's contents turn into shortcuts? This happens a lot especially when you plug this in to an unsecured PC's and typically this results to never ending viruses that can even damage your drives in the long run.

So, how to recover files that turned into shortcuts or being hidden caused by virus? Well no need to panic, just follow these steps and you would able to recover it.

• Make sure that your PC folder options were not hidden. 
• Insert the infected USB
• Now Select Run (winkey+r) and type cmd

For example, I assumed your pen-drive is G:

Now Enter the command below
attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*

Note: Replace the letter g with your pen-drive.
