This is What You Need to Do in Order to File an Annulment Case in the Philippines. Take a Look!

Make sure that both of you are at legal grounds before filing an annulment. Under Article 45 of the Family code for annulment is where the legal reasons for filing can be seen.
Other legal reasons may also be viewed  under the Article 35 Nullity of void marriages, Article 36 (psychological incapacity), Article 37 (incestuous marriage) and also Article 38 (marriage that are void by reason of public policy).

Valid reasons for filing an annulment include individuals who are married below 18 years old , marriages that are solemnized by a person without legal authority, and bigamous or polygamous marriages. You'll need to file a court procedure. Do this by going to the Regional Court's Office of the Executive Court of Clerk and file a petition for annulment of marriage.

The court office will then schedule the case. They will issue a summon to the respondent so that the individual can file an answer to the petition.

From there the court will set a pre-trial conference where both parties are in need of attendance. You may need the assistance of a competent lawyer to offer you legal guidance towards your annulment.
